Obtained plague from child.  Have to try to be well enough for work tomorrow - to clean up a situation from Friday.

Fell asleep in bathtub.  Now to try to sleep on couch.  Upright is better for sinus drainage...

All ick all the time....hate this...

Tonsillitis.

Contagious, and explains the overall body aches.   Penicillin for me!!!!

Got K to daycare today and myself to the clinic.  I like having diagnosis.  They make me think I am not crazy.

Well, what'ever nailed me to the wall this weekend has grabbed hold of K.

Her fever is up again and she's spent much of the night crying that her legs and feet hurt....
I threw up last night, after valiantly avoiding such a thing, and it looks like it's gonna be a trip to the clinic for me to find out what's what.

K has refused to take her meds, (in pill form) so I've also got to head to the pharmacy to switch the pills out for a liquid version.  I'll inquire if that prescription will assist with the newer, improved version of the plague.

Yesterday was easy, she was clearly sick and feverish, I couldn't see straight to drive anyhow... My calendar at work was clear....

Today not so much. I have stuff on my schedule today that I need to deal with, including voice mail, I am sure. I feel better and can certainly drive.

Her fever is higher, 104.2 at 5:45am, and 103.5 at 6:10 (no meds). She slept in my bed, and was hot to touch all night and restless. I'm her only available parent right now...

Do I dose her up and take her to trinshadow's place, who has offered to be surrogate mom to sickies.... or do I bundle her up, take her to work with me, deal with what I need to, pick up my laptop and come home and stay with her myself. DO I skip all the rest, and call in to work, and let THEM deal with my schedule, and just take care of my daughter??

8:08am - she's down to 102.9 and I got meds into her...still lethargic and sleeping...Spoke to my union rep...I can stay home with her today as a Family Leave Day...have to make it in tomorrow...
