Putting the move on hold
May. 18th, 2006 09:05 amLong story short...
Joe & I are both in our probationary periods with the new jobs... CMHC, which underwrites mortgages if you have less then 25% down on a house won't even talk to us until that's done. Mine is 3 months, Joe's is 6.
So...our current residence has been de-listed until July, then we'll relist it, with a closing date of the end of September and start our own house hunt again. Means we lost the beautiful house we wanted...but everything happens for a reason.
SO... work will continue on this house, to continue to increase it's resale value before we list it again. I'm always game for work parties if anyone is interested in helping...
Gardening and outdoor help particularly would be welcome.
