Ballet Class

Tonight was K's first ever ballet class, she was cuddled on the couch when I arrived at trinshadow's after work but assured me that she had the energy to go to Ballet.

She wore her black tights, with her purple tutu... and had a blast running up and down the hall in front of the classroom before class started. Once inside, she blended in quite well and I was told I could leave.

I wandered the mall after setting my cell phone alarm to send me back in time to see the end of class. I got back early, in time to watch a little bit through the window... At one point, the teacher was giving direction to "gallop with your belly facing in" and Katina led the pack... I got weepy...I wandered off and came back in time to see all the little girls but mine doing something..the Teacher asked K what was wrong and I heard her mumble, "I miss my mommy" and the teacher said, look at the door, mommy's there...She turned, I waved and winked and she went back to dancing....

It was a cute thing. She had fun. And I got weepy. What I really need to get are flat slipper for her!!!

If the class is at Conestoga Mall, it's the same place my niece had dance classes. She loved it and couldn't wait to go each week. I just liked it because her teacher Miss Stephanie was cute :)
