Growing Up

Yup...that is so totally me.

Besides getting used to having evenings at home, which is ALL NEW... I also need eventually figure out what to do with them.
I went to fight practice tonight... That was neat.  I haven't been in so long it was nice to get out to see people.  Especially since I didn't make it to Melee at all.  I went to my family reunion during the day and couldn't justify the cost just to go dance for the evening.  It's important to me, but not that important.  I guess it would have been nice to regroup with hubby but he'd already made plans so I was home alone.

Which sounds like will be the order of things shortly.  Hubby should be off to work soon, likely tomorrow, so I'll be on my own.  No big plans ...just a party...on the list for satuday (depending on child care availability) and possibly a dance practice in TO on Sunday (also somewhat dependant on child care).  The housemate is generally up for helping out in these cases so shouldn't be too difficult to work it out.  Guess the home alone thing means I am also available for visitors... If any one wants to make the trip to Steel town, give me fair warning and I'll even cook!!  Maybe...  ; )

Not much else happening.  Trying to sort out financial goals and plans.  Now that the income is slowly stabilizing.  We're hoping to get the budget working sufficiently to have money for US as a couple, as well as for us as individuals.  We had always wanted to have the "household" bank account and the individual bank account.  Seeing as we know we handle our finances so differently.  I am a total saver... he's not.  Maybe we'll eventually get there...
